Community Festival

There Will Be A Little Something
for Everyone....

Introducing the Coolest Bike and Coolest Scooter Show:

All Motorcycles and Scooters are invited to join the Festival Parade at 12 noon, after the parade is over the show will take place from 1:00-3:00pm.

(Parade Line Up begins at 11:15am at the West Newton Elementary School)

All bikers and scooterist can hang out and let the community of West Newton enjoy browsing the collection of bikes and scooters.

During the show we encourage all owners to join in a friendly game called “Coolest Bike” and “Coolest Scooter”

The Objective is:

Each Bike and Scooter owner needs to WOW the crowd and Collect Votes (ie:money)

Each “vote” will put you closer to winning the title of “Coolest Bike” or “Coolest Scooter”

At 3:00pm all Votes (ie:money) will be collected from each owner.

1 Biker and 1 Scooterist who Collect the Most Votes (ie:money) Will Be Awarded a prize of keeping the money they collected.
The rest of the money collected will be donated to The West Newton Community Festival 

Announcing the Long Awaited Return of Merrie   the Clown and Friends to the 2009 West Newton Community Festival 
Merrie, Jolly Holly, Flip and Razzle & Dazzle will be on the festival grounds all weekend long with their famous balloon animals as well as face, arm and leg painting.

Rumor has it Merrie may even make a super fun and unusual appearance in the festival parade this year.

A New Artist Area is being formed, and we will be spotlighting 2 very talented ladies....

Caricature and Fairies’ Artist

Penny’s work is truly awesome, and she will be on the festival grounds all weekend long to draw you and your family and friends in true caricature style.

Jessica Collihan 
Temporary & Henna Tattoo Artist

Jessica’s Temporary Tattoo work is so realistic, you would think it is a real tattoo...
they will last about 1 to 2 weeks. She does line drawing tattoos just like the real tattoo artists do.
