The New 2009 West Newton Community Festival Cookbook will make it's debut at the Community Yard Sale Day

To Be Held Rain Or Shine

There are 4 ways to particiapate in the day’s events

#1 ~ Mail your name, address and phone number to the Festival Committee with your $5.00 donation and your address will be put on the Master List for all to pick up at Vine Street Park. 
Deadline May 22nd

#2 ~ Mail your name and address and phone number  to the Festival Committee with your $5.00 donation tell them you want to set up at the park. Then bring your items to Vine Street Park where you will be given a spot to set up and sell your items        
(you must provide your own tables & chairs)

#3 ~ No time to set up and sell your items on Yard Sale Day? Then Donate your unwanted items.

Drop off times At the Vine Street Park will be:

 Friday Night, May 29th 
from 5:00pm to 8:00pm 

Or call Debbie Gras at 724-872-7937 to arrange a Pick Up at your home.  

#4 ~ SHOP the Yard Sales – Start your day out at 8:00am at Vine Street Park, shop from the many tables set up at the park. Enjoy a cup of coffee and a muffin while you pick up your Master Yard Sale Map & List and then Shop the Town, when you get hungry, head on back to the park where there will be food and drinks for sale all day long, plus a Festival Committee Bake Sale.

If you enjoy baking and would like to bake a donation, just drop it off at the park that morning.

Only 10 Applications per Age Group

Mini Princess - ages 4 to 6
Mini Queen - ages 7 to 9
Princess - ages 10 to 14
Queen - ages 15 to 18

To be Eligible for the pageant you must have a West Newton Mailing Address or Attend School in Yough School District.

The rising costs of everything has affected us all. 
The cost of the 2008 Festival has just about drained our coffers and we need the help and support of the community to keep the festival alive.
