2009 West Newton Community Festival
Children’s All Wheels Parade
The West Newton Community Festival and The West Newton Bicycle Shop is sponsoring the annual
Children’s All Wheels Parade, Saturday, September 12, 200 at 2:00 pm
Creatively decorate your unicycle, bicycle, tricycle, big wheel, scooter, skateboard, wagon or power wheels (or any other non-gasoline powered vehicle) for one of the following judged categories:
Most Patriotic, Most Original, Most Colorful, Biggest, Smallest
and Best Movie Theme
Each category will be awarding a 1st Place and 2nd Place Trophy along with Honorable Mentions.
The Following Rules Apply:
1. Open to children 12 and under.
2. As vehicles are not permitted on park grounds during the festival, all vehicles must be taken home following the parade.
3. Entry Fee: $1.00
4. Mail entry forms and fee to:

5. All entrants should be registered by September 7th
Complete and detach the registration form below with the $1.00 entry fee to the West Newton Community Festival Committee. For additional information, please call Cheryl Russell at 724-872-8697
Parade will form at the Baptist Church at Sixth and Vine Streets at 1:15 pm. Please Be Prompt Judging takes place before the parade, and if you want your vehicle to be judged, you must be at the Baptist Church prior to the parade starting.
